A user who creates an account with foodtrolley.com shall be the sole user of that account and shall be entirely responsible for all activities in the account. As the sole authorized user of the account you created, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the account name and any password assigned to the account. You agree to promptly notify us of any suspected or actual unauthorized access into and use of your account and/or password.
By providing us your contact information such as telephone number and email address you agree to receive information regarding but not limited to availability of items in your order, status of your order, promotions and other information that Food Trolley may deem fit to send to you. You are however at liberty to request us to discontinue sending you such information at any time.
If Food Trolley has reasonable grounds to suspect or believe that there is the likelihood for a breach of security or misuse of our website, we may require you to change your password or your account may be suspended in the interim and information to that effect will be given to you promptly.
Upon reasonable grounds, we may suspend or cancel your account for various reasons, including but not limited to any Breach of your obligations under these Terms and Conditions.
We shall not be responsible or liable in any way for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of, or in connection with, your failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
While we may allow the submission of various kinds of communication in the form of comments, reviews, photographs, videos, comments and other communication by the users of our Website, Blog and Social Media Platforms all such submissions will be considered non-confidential and will be available for Food Trolley to use as it deems fit in any medium and in any territory globally.

You accept that by accessing our website you may be exposed to submission that may be offensive, inaccurate or distasteful, and you hereby waive any legal rights or claims you may have against Food Trolley in relation to this.
While care is taken to ensure that the content published by Food Trolley on its website, including but not limited to product images, product names, product descriptions, product functionalities, product uses, product ingredients and prices, is accurate and complete, errors may occur and you hereby agree that Food Trolley will not be liable in any way for such content.
We state that while content may be the same, depending on item version, images on the site may slightly differ from actual item. Also, prices of items that need to be weighed such as fruits, vegetables, meat, etc may be guide prices to enable you make a buying decision; you will only be billed for the actual weight purchased. Any difference between guide and actual price will be credited/debited to your account as the case may be, unless stated otherwise on the website or a different payment plan structured
In line with this, Food Trolley reserves the right not to accept or cancel any order if the order contains item(s) that are mispriced or contain incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete content or for whatever reason its management deems fit.
For all transactions involving the use of credit or debit cards in the ordinary course of business, Food Trolley will not be liable for information on the card which may be stored on its server or the server held by third parties (payment gateway providers) or any payment platform running on its website.
Food Trolley reserves the sole right to determine which orders to accept and process as well as the right to cancel any order at its own discretion. In the event of cancellation of order, Food Trolley will ensure that information to that effect is communicated to you promptly.
Alcoholic drinks and tobacco products may only be purchased by people who are at least eighteen years of age. By purchasing any of these products on line from Food Trolley.com, you confirm that:
You agree that Food Trolley shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages resulting from or in connection with the use of our services. In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount paid by you to Food Trolley for any of our products and services.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and disputes will be decided by Nigerian Courts.
Shall a dispute arise parties agree to amicable settle before approaching any courts.
Food Trolley offers no guarantee that items in the online stores are appropriate or available for use in locations outside Nigeria, and accessing our website from territories where its contents are illegal or unlawful is prohibited and done at the user’s risk. Ultimately, the user is responsible for ensuring that accessing or using the website or online store is done in accordance with applicable Local Laws.
While orders may be placed for our products in the online store any time within 24 hours daily, the period of delivery is limited to 10am in the morning until 8pm in the evening. In Lagos, delivery is guaranteed within four hours after placement of the order while it is guaranteed within one hour after placement of order in Abuja and other State Capitals and other major Cities where we operate in Nigeria
When we receive a customer order, we begin processing them immediately. Once an order has been placed and paid for, Food Trolley is unable to accept a cancellation of the order later than ten minutes after the initial placement of the order. Food Trolley is also unable to process a refund in such circumstances, but this shall not affect the customers’ right to a refund in the event that an ordered item is unavailable.
While processing your order, there may be need to contact you to discuss availability of some of your items and any placements we may wish to suggest to you. We ask that you confirm to us the preferred means by which we can communicate with you, such as phone call, SMS or email. However, whichever medium you select, we request you to be easily accessible to it so that you can respond promptly when contacted to enable us process and deliver your order timely. Customers who cannot be reached easily may have their delivery rescheduled in order to avoid delay in the delivery of orders for other customers.
While we shall endeavour to deliver your order directly to your doorstep or gate depending on the discretion of the dispatch officer, if access to your location is limited due to poor road condition, flooding, road blocks, civil unrest or any other encumbrances, we shall require you to notify us in advance and also to meet our delivery officer at a convenient and more accessible location. Failure to notify us of any such limitations may result in a delay in the delivery of your order or rescheduling of your delivery or a cancellation of your order
In order to ensure timely deliveries, our delivery officers are mandated to wait for a maximum of 10 minutes for each customer to collect his or her order. If the customer is contacted either by phone calls or SMS and fails to respond or show up within the time period allowed, the delivery officer may leave. Another delivery attempt may be made after confirmation that the customer is available, but this may attract extra charge. Food Trolley shall however not be liable for any damage caused to any order as a result of the additional time it has taken to deliver the order due to non-availability of the customer to take the initial delivery.
In the event that we deliver an incorrect or damaged item and the error is on our part, we shall immediately replace the item at no additional cost to you. However, you will need to notify our delivery officer of your observations at the point of delivery. Once customers have taken delivery of their order and signed in confirmation of this (this shall be a signature or name anywhere on the invoice or waybill), he or she is deemed to have taken ownership of the item(s) and Food Trolley will not accept returns. For this reason, we ask customers to carefully check and confirm the accuracy of their order with our delivery officers before acknowledging receipt. Similarly, Food Trolley will not accept returns for items that have no material damage to them. Products that are materially intact but whose packaging may have suffered scratches, peels, tearing, dents, discolouration, rust, or any other aesthetic impairment that does not affect the taste, functionality or integrity of the actual product may not be accepted by Food Trolley if returned.
While our employees will make extra effort to ensure our customers are satisfied with our services, we expect that our customers will accord the same courtesy and respect to all our employees. On no account should our employees be subjected to any written or verbal abuse. Food Trolley reserves the right to report any incidence of abuse or acts of aggression against our staff to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
Food Trolley Online Services Limited shall be referred to in this agreement as “Food Trolley”, “us” or “we” as the case may be.
“You” shall refer to in this agreement as the customer or the contracting party in this agreement.
“Your” shall refer to the rights of the contracting party or the Customer.
